Loop systems get their name from a wire loop configuration that is placed around a room or large area which sends an electromagnetic signal to the T-coil BEAN, which then in turn changes that signal to sound. The benefits are enhanced when they're used for hearing in reverberant conditions or when a speaker is too far away to be heard clearly, even with amplification. This particular product is a matched pair that comes in the platinum color.
